Ice cream is BOTH a science and an art. My academic background helps to clearly communicate details in making a superior product.
Need help in recipe development? Some people are better at entrees, others at desserts. The later is me! I love desserts! I have a passion for ice cream! I read ice cream recipe cookbooks for fun! I like to look at flavoring from all the different angles.
What is gelato? Gelato is ice cream, Italian-style. I studied under the Italian gelato master, Mr. Luciano Ferrari. He taught me the art of gelato. I have taken this knowledge, and incorporated gelato into my shop without hesitation. I have gained enough knowledge to be able to present the subject at Penn State’s 101 ice cream course, train for Carpigiani, and consult.
